Blessing Israel, Biblical Truth, and the Prophetic Stage

Folks, we’re in the midst of a spiritual and geopolitical storm, and tonight’s Brannon Howse Live dove right into it. A heated spat between Senator Ted Cruz and Tucker Carlson over biblical support for Israel sparked a firestorm, while Alex Jones dropped a bombshell, claiming Christian Zionists like me will “worship the Antichrist.” Joining me to unpack this was Dr. Andy Woods, attorney, pastor, and seminary president, who brought clarity to the Scriptures. As I said on the broadcast, “If we know anything about studying the Bible, you’ve got to look at the context, right?” Let’s get to the heart of this and what it means for America, Israel, and God’s prophetic plan.

First, the Cruz-Carlson clash. Ted Cruz cited Genesis 12, saying, “Those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed.” He insisted this applies to the modern state of Israel, even claiming it refers to “the political entity called Israel” run by Benjamin Netanyahu. Tucker pushed back, questioning whether Genesis 12 refers to the Jewish people or the current government. I give Cruz kudos for going to the Bible, but as I said, “He’s trying, but he got it wrong. This text is not talking about Benjamin Netanyahu’s government.” Genesis 12:1-3, where God tells Abram, “I will make you a great nation… and I will bless those who bless you and the one who curses you I will curse,” is about the Jewish people, not a specific government. “I support the nation of Israel… the Jewish people… wherever they might be.”

Why do I have an Israeli flag in my studio? “To show my support for the Jewish people.” Not every policy of Israel’s government, just as my American flag “represents the people in our 50 states,” not always our government. Dr. Woods backed this up, explaining, “What God said in Genesis 12 is vindicated all the way through the book of Genesis… When people come against Abram and his physical descendants… they are physically cursed.” From Exodus to modern history, God’s promise holds: “There’s no statute of limitations on what he announced in Genesis 12.” George Washington understood this, blessing the Jewish people in 1790 at the Touro Synagogue, promising they could “live under your own fig tree… and none shall make you afraid.” America’s blessings trace back to this, folks.

Then came Alex Jones, interviewing Nick Fuentes, who my producer Logan calls a “raging anti-Semite.” Jones claimed, “Christian Zionists… will then worship whoever the leader of Israel is, the Antichrist.” I was floored. “Apparently, Alex doesn’t understand the verse that many will be deceived, even the elect, if it were possible.” True believers won’t follow another Jesus—Scripture says, “No one can pluck us from his hand.” Dr. Woods pointed out Jones’s error: “The Antichrist can’t even come on the world scene… until after the restrainer… has been removed.” That’s the rapture, folks. “Christian Zionists, like you and me, are going to be gone.” Tribulation saints, not the church, will face that period. Jones also wrongly assumes the Antichrist will be Jewish, but Dr. Woods noted, “All the prefigurements of the Antichrist… are all Gentiles.”

As a Christian Zionist, “I don’t worship the nation of Israel,” but I believe in their biblical right to the land. Dr. Woods echoed Balaam’s words in Numbers: “How do I curse what God loves?” Zionism simply means “Israel has a theological and a legal right to be residing in the land.” With Israel’s stunning campaign against Iran—Netanyahu says, “We control the skies over Tehran”—they’re proving their might. “Israel’s going to have done this on their own… and then they can say to everybody, look at what God allowed us to do.” Dr. Woods sees this as fulfilling Ezekiel 37, where Israel, regathered in unbelief, becomes “an exceedingly great army.” This could set the stage for Ezekiel 38-39, where a coalition forms against a powerful Israel, and even for the third temple, as “restrictions… on the Temple Mount… have been gradually loosened.”

Folks, we’re watching prophecy unfold. Iran’s regime is crumbling, with reports of their leaders fleeing. “Israel is seen as so strong, so powerful, it takes a coalition.” America must stay out and let Israel shine, giving God the glory. But we must prepare—spiritually, mentally, physically. “We better be praying… for our president… for wisdom and discernment.” Visit worldviewtimes.com to share my latest article and get our app at worldviewtube.com/apps for live updates.
