As the world teeters on the brink of unprecedented geopolitical turmoil, with tensions flaring between Israel and Iran and the specter of World War III looming, one critical player often escapes the spotlight: the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). On Brannon Howse Live last night, I sat down with Xi Van Fleet, author of Mao’s America and a survivor of Mao’s Cultural Revolution, to unpack China’s potential role in the escalating Middle East crisis and its broader strategy to undermine America. Her insights, drawn from her lived experience under a totalitarian regime, were both chilling and urgent, serving as a wake-up call for Americans distracted by foreign conflicts while enemies within our borders grow stronger.
Xi Van Fleet, who escaped communist China and now warns of alarming parallels between Mao’s regime and trends in the U.S., didn’t mince words. “China is behind it,” she declared, referring to the web of global instability, from Iran’s provocations to domestic unrest in America. She pointed to a startling development: reports of two large cargo flights from China to Tehran in the past day. While their contents remain unclear, the timing—amid Iran’s reported mining of the Strait of Hormuz and a suspicious 5.2-magnitude “earthquake” hinting at a nuclear test—raises red flags. Xi believes China sees Iran as its “extension” in the Middle East, a proxy to destabilize the region and keep America preoccupied.
What terrifies the CCP, Xi explained, is the chaos unfolding in Iran. Unlike traditional wars where soldiers bear the brunt, she noted, “it’s the rulers, it’s the leaders” who fall first in a totalitarian regime under pressure. The Iranian people, with 80% reportedly yearning for freedom, are rising up, emboldened by access to uncensored information via Elon Musk’s Starlink. For China’s leaders, this is a nightmare scenario. “Can you imagine that happening in China?” Xi asked, highlighting the CCP’s fear of its own citizens glimpsing the truth beyond the Great Firewall. A populist uprising in Iran could inspire similar defiance in China, threatening the regime’s iron grip.
This fear, Xi argued, makes China cautious about accelerating its long-term goal of seizing Taiwan, which supplies 90% of the world’s semiconductor chips. While the CCP would love for America to be mired in a Middle Eastern war—freeing them to act on Taiwan—she believes the Iranian crisis is giving Beijing pause. “They have to think not just twice, three times more, four times before they make the move,” she said, citing the lesson that dictators, not soldiers, are the first to fall when regimes crumble. Yet, she didn’t rule out 2025 as a potential window for action if America becomes sufficiently distracted, though China’s economic woes may delay their timetable to 2026 or 2027.
Xi’s analysis dovetailed with breaking news from FBI Director Kash Patel, who revealed declassified documents detailing “alarming allegations” of CCP interference in the 2020 U.S. election. Patel, turning the materials over to Senator Charles Grassley, confirmed what many of us suspected: the CCP was involved in producing fake ballots and driver’s licenses to manipulate the vote. Xi wasn’t surprised, recalling a 2020 WeChat report about a Chinese printing shop receiving U.S. ballot orders. “It’s old news for us,” she said, connecting the dots to the broader CCP strategy. She even suggested the timing of COVID-19, which enabled mail-in voting, was no coincidence, accusing the CCP of orchestrating it to thwart Trump’s re-election.
The CCP’s fingerprints, Xi warned, are everywhere—funding riots, stoking social unrest, and backing America’s adversaries. She cited a billionaire living in Shanghai, a known CCP agent, as a key player in these schemes. Domestically, she pointed to the “enemies within,” including Democrat lawmakers who reflexively oppose Trump’s policies, from tariffs on China to warnings for Tehran’s civilians to evacuate. “They end up siding with CCP, with Iran, with Hamas, with illegals,” she said, echoing my longstanding concern about the red-green axis—the unholy alliance of Marxists and Islamists, as articulated by terrorist Carlos the Jackal, who said only such a coalition could topple America.
This internal threat is what keeps me up at night. While we deploy military assets to counter Iran’s “death to America” rhetoric, our own government funds NGOs that support mosques and communist groups preaching subversion right here at home. As Xi noted, the CCP thrives on America’s distraction, just as the Soviet Union did in the 1920s and 1930s when U.S. isolationism allowed communism to infiltrate China, birthing the CCP in 1921. Today, that same CCP is our greatest threat, and we’re funding our own demise.
The MAGA movement, Xi observed, is torn. Some urge joining the fight against Iran, while others, like myself, advocate restraint, fearing another endless war. Xi admitted she’s conflicted, recognizing the danger of theocratic regimes like Iran’s Islamism and China’s Marxism, yet wary of overextension. History, she warned, shows the perils of isolationism, but also the cost of reckless intervention. The answer lies in vigilance—both abroad and at home.
As we navigate these perilous times, I urge every American to prepare. At worldviewstore.com, we offer tools for resilience: satellite phones for communication if cell towers fail, solar generators for power outages, bulletproof backpacks, Israeli-made gas masks, and freeze-dried food. I’ve stocked up for my family, not just for survival but for bartering if needed. These aren’t luxuries; they’re necessities in an era where World War III feels imminent and our grid’s vulnerability is openly acknowledged.
Xi Van Fleet’s message is clear: the CCP is behind much of the chaos we face, from Tehran to our own streets. Her book, Mao’s America, available on Amazon, is a must-read for understanding this threat. As we pray for President Trump’s wisdom in this historic moment, let’s heed her warning, stay united, and confront the enemies within and without. Visit worldviewtalk.com and worldviewstore.com to equip yourself for what’s ahead. The time to act is now.
