The Spiritual Battle for the Jewish People and the Prophetic Urgency of Our Time

On my recent broadcast, I felt compelled to address a topic that’s rarely discussed in America’s churches but is critical to understanding the times we’re living in: the spiritual significance of the Jewish people in God’s prophetic plan. A conversation with a well-connected friend in Washington, D.C., prompted this discussion when he assumed my support for Israel was political or economic. I quickly clarified that my commitment to the Jewish people is neither governmental nor financial—it’s spiritual, rooted in the unchanging promises of God’s Word. As anti-Semitism rises and the church’s understanding of biblical prophecy wanes, it’s more urgent than ever for Christians to grasp God’s plan for the Jews and the spiritual battle raging against them.My friend’s comment, “Brandon, I know you’re a big Israel guy,” reflects a common misunderstanding. Many assume support for the Jewish people equates to blind allegiance to Israel’s government. Not so. My concern is for the Jewish people worldwide, not just in Israel, and it’s grounded in Scripture, not politics. The Bible, a supernatural book proven by fulfilled prophecies, reveals God’s irrevocable covenant with the Jews. From Daniel’s precise predictions of kingdoms 800 years in advance to the 109 Messianic prophecies fulfilled in Christ, written centuries before His birth in the Septuagint, Scripture’s reliability is undeniable. If God’s Word accurately foretold past events, we can trust its promises about the future—especially regarding the Jewish people.Romans 11:28-29 declares, “Concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election, they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” God is not a covenant breaker; His promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob stand firm. Despite Israel’s disobedience, detailed in Psalm 78:51-64, where they provoked God with idolatry, He disciplined them but never abandoned them. Ezekiel 36:26-28 promises a new heart and spirit, restoring them to the land He gave their forefathers. Ezekiel 37 vividly depicts this with the valley of dry bones, symbolizing Israel’s regathering as a nation in 1948 and their coming spiritual revival. Revelation 7 speaks of 144,000 Jewish evangelists who will proclaim the Gospel during the Tribulation, leading countless souls to Christ. This spiritual destiny fuels Satan’s relentless assault on the Jews. From Genesis 6, where demonic forces sought to corrupt the Messianic line, to Herod’s attempt to kill the Christ child, Satan has tried to thwart God’s plan. Revelation 12 reveals his ongoing war to destroy the Jews, knowing that their survival is tied to the fulfillment of God’s kingdom promises. If Satan could eliminate every Jew, preventing them from crying out, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” (Matthew 23:39), he could derail the Millennial Kingdom and make God a liar. But God is a covenant keeper, and Satan will fail. This spiritual battle explains why I display an Israeli flag—not as a political statement, but as a reminder of God’s promises. The Jews, just 0.2% of the global population, are central to His plan. Genesis 12:3 says, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you.” As believers, we’re blessed through the Jewish Messiah, Jesus, and we must pray for their salvation, just as Paul, once Saul the persecutor, became a great evangelist. Many Jews today, like those in Revelation 2:9’s “synagogue of Satan,” may oppose the Gospel or persecute Messianic Jews, but we must see them as potential Pauls, awaiting transformation.Sadly, most American churches avoid these truths, dismissing prophecy as divisive or irrelevant. Yet over half the Bible is prophetic, revealing God’s supernatural plan. As the church abandons biblical hermeneutics, God has raised up platforms like WorldviewTube to proclaim these truths. My network, with 74 terrestrial stations, exists to equip Christians to understand God’s economy in this Church Age, soon to end with the Rapture. Then, the Jews will take center stage in a fierce spiritual battle.I urge you to study these Scriptures—Romans 11, Ezekiel 36-37, Revelation 7—and pray for the Jewish people’s salvation. Support our work at WorldviewFoundation.com to keep this message alive. Join us at our 22nd annual Worldview Weekend Conference, October 3rd-4th in Collierville, Tennessee, at WorldviewStore.com, featuring speakers like Dr. Andy Woods and Gordon Chang. The rise of anti-Semitism and the church’s prophetic ignorance demand our vigilance. This is a spiritual war, and we must stand firm for God’s chosen people.
