On my recent broadcast with David Pyne, president of the Task Force on National Homeland Security, we uncovered troubling developments in President Trump’s foreign policy and the growing domestic threats that demand urgent attention. From his surprising support for sending more weapons to Ukraine to green-lighting a catastrophic sanctions bill, Trump’s actions are raising questions among his base. Add to that the alarming intelligence about Al-Qaeda’s “invisible bombs” and Chinese military-aged men embedded near U.S. bases, and it’s clear we’re at a critical juncture. America’s sovereignty and security hang in the balance.Let’s start with Ukraine. During a cabinet meeting, President Trump announced plans to send more weapons to Ukraine, prompting a visible reaction from CIA Director John Ratcliffe. Some interpreted Ratcliffe’s body language as shock, others as approval. David Pyne, a keen observer of national security, believes it was the latter—a sign of neocons like Ratcliffe, Marco Rubio, and Mike Waltz (still drawing full cabinet pay on the National Security Council) winning their campaign to keep America entangled in Biden’s war. This is a stark reversal from Trump’s pledge to end the conflict within 100 days. Instead, Zelensky, who disrespected Trump in a February 28th meeting, has secured a 10-year security pact, a mineral deal on his terms, and a blank check to keep fighting. David warns that if Britain and France send troops to Ukraine, invoking NATO’s Article 5 could drag the U.S. into direct conflict, especially if Russia launches a northern offensive from Belarus, just 50 miles from Kyiv. Then there’s the Russian secondary sanctions bill, sponsored by Senator Lindsey Graham and reportedly backed by Trump. David’s post on X highlighted its devastating potential: 500-1000% sanctions on any country trading with Russia, which could cut off trade with 85% of the world’s nations. This would spike U.S. weapons production costs and, more critically, block access to 90% of our life-saving pharmaceuticals from China. For Americans on fixed incomes, a $50 drug could cost $500 or more, forcing impossible choices between medicine, food, or rent. David predicts this could tank the economy and wipe out Republicans in the 2026 midterms. Why would Trump consider such a reckless move? It defies his America First rhetoric and suggests neocon influence is overriding his campaign promises.Equally disturbing is the leaked audio of Trump boasting to donors about threatening to “bomb the shit out of Moscow” if Putin invaded Ukraine and Beijing if Xi targeted Taiwan. David doubts Trump ever said this to Putin or Xi directly, calling it bombastic rhetoric for domestic audiences. But such talk risks escalating tensions when Trump’s stated priority is avoiding World War III. David’s confederation plan for Taiwan—modeled on an EU-style arrangement with nominal Chinese oversight but no troops—offers a diplomatic path to avoid conflict. Yet China’s refusal to meet unless Trump publicly rejects Taiwanese independence underscores the high stakes. On the domestic front, Sarah Adams, a former CIA analyst, has sounded the alarm on Al-Qaeda’s “invisible bombs”—non-metallic devices using a syringe and chemical chamber to ignite like a chem light. Tested in 2023, these bombs could evade TSA screening, especially as airports relax measures like shoe checks. Adams warns of a plot targeting a dozen planes, with bombers potentially detonating in terminals if flights are grounded. She blames Biden-era border policies for letting threats slip through, with at least one incident since Trump took office. Compounding this, air marshals are reportedly being pulled from planes to perform menial tasks at the border, like checking for lice. David links this heightened risk to U.S. bombing in Iran, which could provoke Al-Qaeda, loosely allied with Iran, to strike with Iranian funding. But the most chilling threat David highlighted is the estimated 100,000 Chinese PLA troops and special forces positioned near 17 key U.S. military bases, often on Chinese-owned farmland. In Utah, where David lives, 35% of the land is Chinese-owned, raising red flags about strategic positioning. Reports from Jason Luris suggest high-ranking CCP officials own residential properties across America, with plans to occupy luxury homes in a Western U.S. invasion if we defend Taiwan. David warns of a potential Chinese cyber attack or regional EMP strikes on U.S. grids, possibly armed with nukes, biological weapons, or nerve gas via Club-K systems on diesel trucks. He urges Trump to use U.S. troops to seize this land and deport these military-aged men, emphasizing that paying for the land is secondary to neutralizing this existential threat. These issues expose a troubling reality: Trump’s administration is veering from its America First roots, influenced by neocons and distracted by policies that could cripple our economy and security. David’s insights, available at emptaskforce.us and d-p-yne.substack.com, are a clarion call to action. Follow him at @AmericaFirstCon for updates. I encourage you to support our work at WorldviewFoundation.com and join our fall conference in Collierville, Tennessee, on October 3rd-4th at WorldviewStore.com, featuring speakers like Gordon Chang and Sidney Powell. We’re not living in the free America we celebrate—our borders, skies, and future are at risk. It’s time to demand accountability and protect our nation.
